Boy Scouts, Choctaw Area Council

Mission: "It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and, in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime in achieving their full potential. The values we strive to instill are based on those found in the Scout Oath and Law."

Boys and Girls Club

Mission: "To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens."

Camp Eagle Ridge

Camp Eagle Ridge, established in 2010 in Collinsville, Mississippi is a non-profit camp for able and special needs children.
Mission: "Teach children of all ages that with vision, determination, persistence, and courage they can achieve the goal of obtaining a college education.

Care Lodge

Mission: "Consistent with our belief in the value, worth and dignity of each person, Care Lodge seeks to eliminate domestic violence by providing victims, offenders and the community with appropriate, effective programs and services. Care Lodge continues to advocate for an environment free from domestic violence."

Feed by Faith

Mission: "To help the less fortunate in Lauderdale County and surrounding area at no cost. Feed by Faith maintains and manages a food bank at our facility that allows us to distribute to our community."

Foster Grandparent Program

sters the unique talents of senior citizens as mentors for abused, neglected, and mentally challenged youth.
Mission: "To provide eligible older adults an opportunity to help make a positive impact in the community, by tutoring and mentoring at-risk children and youth with exceptional and special needs under the age of twenty-one (21) in educational settings. This interaction will enrich the lives of the Foster Grandparent volunteers as well as, help develop the next generation in a positive manner.

Habitat for Humanity

"Seeking to put god's love in action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope."

Hope Village for Children

"Group foster home for abandoned, neglected, and abused children ages birth to 18.
Mission: "To provide a continuum of specialized treatment programs, services, and facilities of superior quality to meet the individual needs of neglected and abused children and their families."

L.O.V.E.’s Kitchen (Lauderdale Outreach Volunteer Effort)

Mission: "Lauderdale County Outreach and Volunteer Effort, Inc,. known as LOVE'S Kitchen, is a nonprofit, charitable organization formed for the express purpose of feeding the hungry in Meridian and Lauderdale County, MS."

Meals on Wheels Program

Ensures at least one hot meal per day, five days per week, for homebound elderly residents in the Meridian area.

Salvation Army

Mission: "The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination."

Davidson Shelter (formerly South Harbor Shelter)

Addresses the needs of homeless and potentially homeless persons by aiding in securing and maintaining transitional to permanent housing.

Free Clinic of Meridian

"To provide for the medical needs of uninsured adults while connecting them to the existing health community."

Meridian Freedom Project - The Montgomery Institute

"Create a corps of academically capable, socially conscious and mentally disciplined young leaders in Meridian, MS."

Wesley House Community Center, Inc

"Wesley House spreads the word and love of Jesus Christ. We do this by having a servant's heart in our daily activities. We believe the time to show Christ's love and compassion is during times of struggle and chaos."

BEEP Project

"BEEP project is to support our community by improving the quality of life for the people of Meridian and Lauderdale County."

Illuminations Center for Dyslexia, Inc.

"Working to change the lives of children in East Mississippi and West Alabama."
